AR9565

AR9565 is a patched version of Apple’s AirPortAtheros40.kext with added device ID support for the Atheros AR9565 WiFi chipset. Requires HS80211Family for macOS Big Sur and later.

Installation

1. Download the kext from GitHub
2. Download HS80211Family (required for macOS Big Sur and later)
3. Copy both AirPortAtheros40-9565.kext and HS80211Family.kext to EFI/OC/Kexts/
4. Add both kexts to your config.plist under Kernel > Add
5. Reboot your system
