VoodooHDA is a generic HD audio driver for macOS. It provides audio support without the need for specific codec patches.

Important Note

AppleALC is recommended over VoodooHDA. AppleALC provides better sound quality and is actively maintained. Use VoodooHDA only if AppleALC doesn’t support your audio hardware.
