ThunderboltReset
ThunderboltReset is a Lilu plugin that provides Thunderbolt hot-plug reset support, allowing Thunderbolt devices to be properly recognized when connected after boot.
Overview
On Hackintosh systems, Thunderbolt devices connected after boot (hot-plugged) may not be properly recognized due to incomplete Thunderbolt controller initialization. ThunderboltReset patches the Thunderbolt subsystem to properly handle hot-plug events, ensuring that Thunderbolt devices are detected and configured correctly when connected after the system has already booted.
Features
- Hot-Plug Support: Enables proper Thunderbolt device detection when connected after boot
- Controller Reset: Handles Thunderbolt controller reset on hot-plug events
- Device Recognition: Ensures Thunderbolt devices are properly recognized and configured
- Lilu Integration: Built on the Lilu patching framework
