AMFIExemption

AMFIExemption is a Lilu plugin that exempts processes from Apple Mobile File Integrity (AMFI) checks. This allows unsigned or modified kexts and applications to run without triggering AMFI enforcement.

Overview

Apple Mobile File Integrity (AMFI) is a macOS security mechanism that verifies the integrity of running processes and kexts. On Hackintosh systems, AMFI can sometimes block legitimate kexts or applications from functioning properly. AMFIExemption patches the AMFI subsystem to exempt specified processes from these integrity checks, enabling smoother operation of Hackintosh-specific software.

Installation

1. Install Lilu first
2. Download the latest release from GitHub
3. Copy AMFIExemption.kext to EFI/OC/Kexts/
4. Add the kext to your config.plist under Kernel > Add
5. Ensure Lilu is loaded before AMFIExemption
6. Reboot your system
