SystemProfilerMemoryFixup

SystemProfilerMemoryFixup is a Lilu plugin that enables the memory tab in About This Mac on platforms where it is normally hidden, such as MacBookAir and MacBookPro10,x models.

Overview

On certain Mac models (and their corresponding SMBIOS configurations), the memory tab in About This Mac is hidden by default, preventing users from viewing installed RAM details. SystemProfilerMemoryFixup patches the system profiler to reveal the memory tab, allowing users to see their memory configuration regardless of the SMBIOS model in use.

Features

  • Memory Tab Visibility: Enables the hidden memory tab in About This Mac
  • SMBIOS Compatibility: Works with MacBookAir and MacBookPro10,x SMBIOS configurations
  • Memory Details: Shows installed RAM speed, type, and slot information
  • Lilu Integration: Built on the Lilu patching framework

Installation

  1. Install Lilu first
  2. Download the latest release from GitHub
  3. Copy SystemProfilerMemoryFixup.kext to EFI/OC/Kexts/
  4. Add the kext to your config.plist under Kernel > Add
  5. Ensure Lilu is loaded before SystemProfilerMemoryFixup
  6. Reboot your system
