DiskArbitrationFixup is a Lilu plugin that patches the disk arbitration subsystem to fix issues with external drive recognition and mounting on Hackintosh systems.

Overview

The macOS disk arbitration subsystem manages the mounting and unmounting of storage devices. On Hackintosh systems, external drives may not be properly recognized or may fail to mount due to differences in how non-Apple hardware reports disk information. DiskArbitrationFixup patches the disk arbitration daemon to resolve these issues, ensuring reliable external drive handling.

Installation

1. Install Lilu first
2. Download the latest release from GitHub
3. Copy DiskArbitrationFixup.kext to EFI/OC/Kexts/
4. Add the kext to your config.plist under Kernel > Add
5. Ensure Lilu is loaded before DiskArbitrationFixup
6. Reboot your system
