GenericUSBXHCI

GenericUSBXHCI is a generic USB 3.0 xHCI controller driver for macOS. It provides USB 3.0 support for chipsets not natively supported.

Important Note

For most modern builds, you don’t need this kext. USBInjectAll or a custom USB map is usually sufficient. Use GenericUSBXHCI only for specific xHCI controllers that aren’t recognized.

Installation

1. Download from Bitbucket
2. Copy GenericUSBXHCI.kext to EFI/OC/Kexts/
